Our Journey

Our journey started with a simple question…

How can we make healthy organic food easily accessible to everyone?

In 2017, our founder, Harrison Jones, took his idea to BBC’s The Apprentice, hoping to gain investment to make his ideas a reality. Falling just short of the final, Harrison heard those dreaded words no Apprentice candidate wants to hear, ‘You’re fired’.

This was actually just the start though. Not long after leaving the show, Harrison secured an alternative Alan (Betteridge), as his business partner, and got to work making his ambition (some might say obsession) for creating a healthy food brand a reality.

In 2018, Equals Health was born. Since then, our mission has been to create a range of tasty and nutritious organic meals, and to make them easily accessible and available to everyone.

2021 saw David Rickett, ex-MasterChef finalist, join the Equals Health team as our Head of Recipe Development. David worked quietly in the background for many months, using his flair for flavour to improve our existing range of meals while also developing his own unique range.

Using only the best ethically sourced organic ingredients, everything we make is sliced, chopped, cooked and packed in the Equals Health kitchen by our team of expert chefs, lead by Head Chef, Graham, and supported by David Rickett. All of our ingredients are as Mother Nature intended - that means no additives, no sweeteners, no Pesticides, all love!

We understand that eating healthy is incredibly important for our body and our minds, and we also understand that many of us lack the time and/or inclination to slave away in front of the cooker for every meal.
